01 Disclaimer
CompliAI Dental is an AI-powered compliance screening tool designed to help dental professionals and healthcare technology businesses identify potential regulatory issues in AI systems, proposals, scripts, and workflows before seeking qualified legal or regulatory counsel.
What CompliAI Dental does
- Provides a preliminary regulatory screen against five frameworks: UK GDPR / EU GDPR, the EU AI Act (Regulation 2024/1689), GDC Advertising and Communication Standards, the Medical Device Regulations (MDR 2017/745), and ICO AI Guidance.
- Returns structured verdicts (PERMITTED / DISCLOSE REQUIRED / PROHIBITED / SEEK SPECIALIST ADVICE) with references to specific articles or guidelines.
- Identifies issues in AI proposals, agent scripts, business plans, and product descriptions submitted by the user.
What CompliAI Dental does not do
- Provide legal advice or act as a solicitor, barrister, or regulatory consultant.
- Assess vendor Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) or confirm their legal adequacy.
- Register systems with Eudamed, the ICO, or any regulatory authority.
- Make GDC fitness-to-practise determinations.
- Guarantee that a system assessed as PERMITTED will be found compliant by a regulator.
- Substitute for independent legal review before deployment of any AI system.
Limitation of liability
AI4This, Dr Vivian Onu-Nzegbulem, and Dental Amplify Training accept no liability for any loss, regulatory sanction, reputational damage, or harm arising from reliance on assessments produced by CompliAI Dental. Regulatory positions stated in this tool reflect the law as understood at the date of the last update. Legislation changes; always verify against current statute.
Users are solely responsible for ensuring their AI systems, products, and communications comply with all applicable laws and professional obligations.

What data we process
- Content you submit: Text, documents, proposals, and scripts submitted to CompliAI Dental for compliance screening. This is processed by the underlying AI model to generate assessments.
- Usage data: Basic interaction data may be logged by the hosting platform (Pickaxe and its infrastructure providers) for service operation purposes.
We do not knowingly collect, store, or process special category personal data (health data, biometric data, or patient records) through this tool. If you inadvertently submit such data, it will be processed by the AI model in the same way as any other input. Do not submit patient-identifiable information.
Lawful basis for processing
Processing of content you submit is carried out on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) — specifically, the legitimate interest in providing the compliance screening service you have requested. Where the service is provided under a paid subscription or cohort programme agreement, processing is also carried out on the basis of contract performance (Article 6(1)(b)).
Third-party AI infrastructure
CompliAI Dental operates on Pickaxe, which uses third-party AI model infrastructure. Content you submit may be processed by AI model providers. We ensure that any infrastructure used has appropriate Data Processing Agreements in place. You should review Pickaxe's own privacy policy for full details of how your data is handled at the platform level.
Data retention
AI4This does not independently store the content of your submissions beyond the duration of your session. Platform-level retention is governed by Pickaxe's infrastructure policies.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, and (where applicable) erase personal data held about you. To exercise these rights, contact: hello@ai4this.com
Supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your data has been mishandled: ico.org.uk
